'A' Level Dance
Studying 'A' Level DANCE at Collective gives you the opportunity to take an extra AS or A Level alongside your school subjects or earlier if you wish.
A Level Dance can be started with us in Year 10 providing a 'B' grade was achieved at GCSE. If you have not taken GCSE dance we will access you.
AS is half an A Level and can be used as a stand alone qualification or can be increased to a full A Level in the second year of study. AS comprises of 3 units and a further 3 units for the complete A Level.
Course aims to: extend knowledge, understanding and skills needed to participate in and cimmunicate through dance. The course will encourage lifelong learning and provide access to dance and dance related interests and careers. This course provides an invaluable compliment to students technical training.
We are very lucky in the way we can run the course at Collective, if you choose to take a year out in the middle you can do that. The course can be built around your commitment to the course.
