GCSE Dance
At Collective we give students the opportunity to start their GCSE Dance in Year 8. This means they can take the examination in the following year meaning they will have done one GCSE before starting their others.
GCSE Dance is normally a two year course, if you would like to take it in one year and you are in year 10 or 11 you will be assessed before joining the course.
To do well in GCSE Dance you need to enjoy watching dance as well as performing. There will be lots of opportunites to go to the theatre to see professional dance works.
