The Studio
History
Collective Dance & Drama was founded in 1989 by Debra Hemmings. The main studio is situated in the heart of rural Rickmansworth. Historically the studio has been occupied by dancers since the 1920's.
Collective provide dance, singing and drama classes for boys and girls during the week and after school hours and Saturdays.
Collective aim to supply a warm and friendly envirmonet for pupils and students to study subjects relating to the performing arts.
The junior schools encourage pupils to gain self-confidence, discipline, co-ordination and a sense of achievement, whether they aim to enter employment in the arts or as a good back ground for general life.
For those who take the intensive courses with the aim to achieve employment in the arts, theses courses are aimed to give an all round foundation.
The staff at collective are dedicated, experienced teachers, they are enthusiastic and enjoy passing on their knowledge.
The nucleus of Collective's creative team have worked together for many years, they compliment each others genres and diciplines.
