Debra finished her training at Arts Educational in London, then danced and choreographed with several dance companies touring extensively in Europe and the Middle East. While directing her own companies for years she danced and choreographed for numerous TV shows in the UK and abroad. Since teaching many of her ex-students have entered into the world of professional Theatres, Dancing, singing and acting, cabaret groups and on cruises and TV. Her dynamic teaching style and her ability to guide students through their training has and will continue to prove successful. Debra is also supported by a Creative and qualified team, who aim to inspire students with their imagination and enthusiasm.
Ballet - Jazz - Modern - Musical Theatre - Drama - LAMDA
Danielle started her training from the age of two and a half at Collective. She took a foundation course with Collectives College once she reached a major level and gained a scholarship to Urdang Academy where she continued her training in Musical Theatre. Afterwards she worked as a Professional Singer and dancer in numerous venues and companies abroad and in the UK. Danielle came back to Collective as teacher to gain her teaching qualifications with Collective's Teaching College. Danielle has proven to be a lovely teacher and her talents range through drama, dance and singing. She also teaches LAMDA drama and Musical Theatre.
Tap - Ballet - Jazz - Acro Dance
Katie has been a student at Collective since she was 3years old and recently decided to join our teaching staff after having finished her Alevel studies. Katie has gained up to Major Advanced levels in Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Modern and is currently working towards taking her ARBTA teaching exams at Collective. Katie has always been conscientious, thoughtful and bubbly we believe along with her compassion and talent she will be a popular teacher with our students.
Contemporary - Ballet - GCSE Dance - ALevel Dance
Sue finished her student training with The Brooking School of Ballet- London. After college she worked for Debra's company "3 C's" and continued with Debra's Company "Splitz" touring the Middle East and Europe. After dancing in Pantomimes, contemporary dance companies, Hair shows at Earls court and much more; Sue took her talents to teaching. She has gained an excellent reputation and is one of our founding teachers here at Collective, where she has been a great inspiration. Sue also teaches at other locations such as West Herts College, Queens School and many more. Finally, Sue examines and moderates Alevel Dance Practical and Theory since 2004 and had taught GCSE and Alevel since 2000.
Commercial Jazz - Boys Street
Kerry trained at Tring Park School of Performing Arts and then when on to continue her training at Laine Theatre Arts where she received a Scholarship. Since graduation Kerry has been fortunate enough to appear in London's Westend musicals ,West Side Story, Fame and the Lion King. Kerry has danced in numerous commercials, TV shows and road shows around the UK and Europe. After fulfilling her dreams to be a performer Kerry was cast as one as the 5 presenters for CITV's 'Fun Factory' which lead to her performing on Nickelodeon. Kerry combines her professional work with teaching in various locations as well as Collective.
Steph started her dancing training with Collective, finishing with a year at Urdang Academy with a scholarship. After leaving Urdang she has been performing in Music Videos, touring with Strictly and working in places such as India and Marrakech (as well as the UK) as a dancer and or choreographer. She still performs in the UK and is stilling working with her contacts in Marrakech helping to choreograph and audition other dancers. Whilst doing all this Steph has been gaining her qualifications in Pilates, BootyBarre and Fitness. Steph is enthusiastic and looking forward to teaching with us.
Ballet - Jazz - Modern
Beth started dancing when she was 10years old, training in Disco freestyle and Street jazz. She competed all over the UK in different dance events and auditioned for televised programs like 'Got to Dance'. After completing her A Levels in 2009 (which included dance), she decided to take her love for dance and make it her career. She joined Collective in 2010 as a student taking classes in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Commercial Jazz. She is a student teacher and has qualifications with ISTD and ARBTA, Beth plans on continuing with her exams to help broaden her dance knowledge and skills.
Barbara has taught for the Youth Drama Kensa House and many other colleges and schools. Where she coached for Drama/Uni/School entrance/Auditions; specialising in LAMDA exams up to Gold Medal. Barbra has professional acting experience such as working with 'The National Youth Theatre', working in the West End, performing in the Emmy award winning drama on BBC 'Bullion Boys' and TV series 'Bread'. She has experience from voice overs to performing in many plays and commercials- with this vast experience and caring professional manner, her pupils and students have gained excellent results.
All our teachers are qualified, DBS checked and have first aid certificates.
